Dress Dreamer was born from of a love of weddings and fashion. After working in the wedding industry for over 12 years as a wedding planner I came across an idea a few years ago whilst taking a much needed relaxing bath!
After planning and styling so many weddings for years I had become lucky enough to call so many wedding suppliers close friends. It was often that I was asked ‘Laura – do you know anyone that wants to buy my sisters wedding dress’ or ‘Laura do you know how I can sell my wedding dress?’
So a few months later after getting asked this question many many times, I sat about in my office creating a moodboard of ideas. First thing when Monday morning came I started thinking about a name and an idea of a logo… and a few years later I can say that after quite a few years of hard work, late nights and early mornings in the office I can proudly say that its finally become reality!
Wedding fashion is a huge thing and that is why I wanted to create a very fashion-forward site, showcasing the newest designers, trends and dresses hot off the catwalks.
We are living in a world where we are becoming more and more aware about sustainability. Wearing a pre-owned gown is something to be proud of and I wanted to create a website that is a community for brides all over the world.
So whether you are looking for the dress of your dreams or wanting to sell a preloved gown I hope you fall as in love with Dress Dreamer as much as I have. Excitingly, this is only the beginning. We have only just launched this year and there will be so many exciting additions to the site in coming months.
